Radica 20Q Ball

If you want a great Christmas idea for a stocking filler this year then look no further than the Radica 20Q. But be warned, it is so addictive you may have trouble using it as a stocking filler!

Now it's possible to play the new and improved version of this 20Q ball. Think of anything, and I'm sure it will guess it. Answer the questions; if the Radica 20Q can guess your thing within 20 questions, it wins. If not, then you win. In version 2 the artificial intelligence is much more accurate and it has many new questions to ask, new answers to try, and even more attitude, an undo button and an easier-to-read bright screen too. Wait to be amazed at how precise it can be, demonstrating uncanny mind reading abilities.

As someone with an 8-year-old son I'd say this has come to be an entertaining device but not to forget that it is just a toy. Should complement Amazon for delivering it so fast just before Christmas, as it was always supposed to be a stocking filler gift and the Radica 20 Questions game was able to keep the kids occupied with (read: QUIET) while I look for some peace and relaxation.

This little gizmo, 20 Questions toy, not too much bigger than a golf ball, is fantastic for keeping children amused on car journeys, in doctor waiting rooms etc. There are no tiny parts or added items to get lost down seats or under units, there is a back light if it gets dark, it occupies hardly any room and needs minimal movement to operate.

On the plus side Radica 20Q is an attractive unit. It sits nicely in your hand and is easy to operate. The sound can be switched off, and there is a useful backlight for low light levels. I also like the fact that it quickly switches itself off when not in use. Radica 20Q is always going to throw up some fun questions and answers and therin lies the amusement. It can be a surprisingly socialable toy as well.

20Q version 2

20Q version 2 has so many options such as is it an animal, vegetable, mineral, object or unknown? It has an option to use a backlight and you can choose to use sound. The only thing that is slightly bad is that it asks the same questions when you select the category. Overall, I think this is a marvellous buy and it is great value for the price. I am so glad I bought it and I am sure my friends will be doing so soon.

Radica 20 Questions

Some questions from the Radica 20Q could be more clearly phrased and can be very difficult to answer. For example, would you say a banana is "flexible"? Does it roll? Is it straight? What about a dog - would you "use it daily" (it has a fixation with 'use' of things)? And sometimes it seems to waste questions.

20 Questions toy

It's quite interesting to see different peoples reactions to the same game. When i was younger i used to play the game "Animal, Mineral or Vegetable" which forms the basis of the Radica 20Q game. You played with a friend and one of you had to think of an object whilst the other had to ask questions to find out what it was. The question answers were limited to yes or no answers.

20Q ball

This is a really cool toy to play with, and will provide much fun for the family. One time I guessed its self, and one of the questions was "does it break when dropped?". I assumingly answered "yes", and it got it correct. This thing must be smart because when I did get round to accidently dropping it, well, it broke. I highly recommend this toy, its a real laugh, but don't drop it!
