Radica 20Q version 2
This Radica 20Q toy / game looked so interesting that I just had to open it and play with it as an early Xmas present to myself.
It is a straightforward idea ( like the old 20 questions making a guess game ), where you believe of something - anything - and Radica 20Q asks you a question to which you reply 'yes', 'no', 'sometimes' or 'don't know'. After you have answered 20 times he makes his guess, and wins it if is true. If he is wrong he gets another five questions and guesstimates again.
It has so many options like is it an animal, plant, mineral, object or unknown? It has an option to employ a back light and you can opt to use sound. The single thing that's barely bad is that it asks the same questions when you choose the class. Overall, I suspect this is a fabulous buy and it is incredible value for the cost. I'm so happy I purchased it and I'm sure my mates will be doing so soon.As one with an eight-year-old child I would say this has proven to be a comical device but it is worth bearing in mind that it's only a toy. Must complement Amazon for delivering it so speedily just before Yuletide , as it was always planned to be a stocking filler and something to keep the youngsters occupied ( read : QUIET ) while I seek rest and relaxation. It's quite engaging to see different races reactions to the same game.
When i was younger i used to play the game "Animal, Mineral or Vegetable" which forms the root of the Radica 20Q game. You played with a mate and one of you had to think about an object while the other had to raise questions to discover what it was. The question answers were restricted to yes or no answers. It sits nicely in your hand and is simple to operate. The sound can be switched off, and there's a helpful back light for low light levels. I also like the incontrovertible fact that it quickly switches itself off when not in use. 20Q is always going to throw up some fun questions and responses and therin lies the entertainment.
It could be an amazingly socialable toy as well. This small widget, not very much larger than a golfing ball, is brilliant for keeping youngsters occupied on automobile journeys, in waiting rooms etc for example. There are no tiny parts or additonal items to become lost down seats or on the floor, there's a back light for when it is getting dark, it takes up barely any room and needs minimal movement. Some questions might be more obviously phrased and can be exceedingly hard to say anything. Mind you, the expressions on peoples's faces when it estimates properly is priceless!
